Inoculants are necessary additives in the production of cast iron. A little inoculant can significantly improve the microstructure of cast iron and improve the properties of gray cast iron. Inoculants can also promote graphitization, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic clusters, and refine the matrix structure. The main components of Lishi alloy inoculants are silicon, aluminum, barium and calcium.
Ferro silicon barium contains Si, Ba, Al, Fe, steel often do deoxidizer and alloy agent, improve its strength, hardness and elasticity. It is often used as inoculant and spheroidizer in foundry industry.
Property and characteristics:

Application
1. Containing barium 105-35% of silicon barium alloy used for steelmaking deoxidizer, desulfurization ability is better than the calcium silicon alloy.
2. Added Silicon barium can make the nature of the non-metallic inclusions in steel and the important changes in the distribution. 3. In adding proper mount of silicon barium alloy plasticity and toughness can be in high improved both in high temperature and low temperature, silicon barium iron for cold resistant performance of steel is the most effective.
