Resveratrol, a non-flavonoid polyphenol organic compound, is an antitoxin produced when many plants are stimulated. It can be synthesized in grape leaves and grape skins as an active ingredient in wine and grape juice. 

What is the difference between grape and polygonum cuspidatum extract?

The main reason is the difference in composition. In addition to trans-resveratrol, grape extract also contains grape antitoxin, oligomeric beneficial bacteria; while Polygonum cuspidatum extract contains only trans-resveratrol. Grape skins are rich in polyphenolic compounds such as resveratrol, cellulose and anthocyanins.

Skin Whitening

Resveratrol can be used as a skin whitening agent, inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase. It can reduce the pigmentation caused by ultraviolet light . It also fights photoaging by inhibiting the synthesis of melanin, thereby making the skin fairer and reducing chloasma . 

 Anti-aging

Resveratrol has antioxidant properties. It can delay the photoaging process of skin by reducing the expression of AP-1 and NF-kB factors, thereby protecting cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals and ultraviolet radiation.
