In our daily industry on the raw materials called aluminu m ingot, by national standards (GB/T 1196-2008) should be called "remelting with aluminu m
ingot", but everyone used to "aluminu m ingot".
It is produced by electrolysis using alumina - cryolite.
Alumin um ingots into industrial applications after two categories: cast aluminu m alloy and deformed aluminu m alloy.
Cast aluminu m and alumin um alloy are alu minum castings produced by casting method;
Deformed alumi num and alum inum alloys are processed products that produce alu minum by pressure machining: plates, strips, foils, tubes, rods, shapes, wires and forgings.
According to the national standard, "alum inum ingot for remelting is divided into 8 grades according to its chemical composition, which are Al99.90, Al99.85, Al99.70, Al99.60, Al99.50, Al99.00, AL99.7E, AL99.6E "(Note: the number after Al is alumi num content).
Some people call it "A00" alum inum, but it's actually 99.7 percent pure alumin um, and it's called "standard aluminu m" on the London market.
