Tazarotene is a third-generation retinoid dermatological drug, a vitamin A-like precursor drug for topical use in the skin, with effects such as regulating epidermal cell differentiation and proliferation, and is mainly indicated for the treatment of plaque psoriasis vulgaris. Tazarotene cream can also be used for the treatment of facial acne. It contains 15mg/30g of the active ingredient and is applied topically as a gel, with an appropriate amount applied to the affected area half an hour before bedtime each night. Before application, wash the affected area, and after the skin is dry, apply the drug evenly on the lesions to form a thin film; after applying the drug, rub gently to promote the absorption of the drug. A pea-sized gel can cover a large area of skin lesions on the palm of the hand, and the area of application should not exceed 20% of the body surface area. Wash your hands with soap after rubbing the medication.
