Application field
Dichlorophenyl Imidazoldioxolan (Elubiol) is a new imidazole fungicide that inhibits fungal sterol biosynthesis and alters the
composition of other lipid compounds in cell membranes. It can kill Candida, Histoplasma capsulatum, Blastomyces dermatitis and
Coccidioides, etc. It is used in washing products to remove dandruff, sterilize and regulate skin oil.
The main structure of Dichlorophenyl Imidazoldioxolan (Elubiol) is exactly the same as that of ketoconazole, only the keto group of
ketoconazole is replaced by an ester group at the end. Both are the most effective inhibitors against Pityriasis ovale, which
produces dandruff. Dichlorophenyl Imidazoldioxolan (Elubiol) is listed in the INCI List, the EU Cosmetic Ingredient List and the
Ministry of Health's "International Cosmetic Raw Material Standard Chinese Name List", and can be legally used in cosmetics.
Dichlorophenyl Imidazoldioxolan (Elubiol). Acts as a radical scavenger, sebum control- and anti-microbial agent.
It is an imidazole antifungal agent with very effective, broad-spectrum anti-microbial activity against microorganisms associated with
dandruff and seborrhea. The optimal sebum inhibitor with synergistic effect in combination with piroctone olamine in treating
seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.
