Application:
It is used to formulate skin care cosmetics such as sunscreen (cream, lotion, liquid), which can effectively absorb ultraviolet rays in the sun, prevent human skin from sunburn, sunburn, and tanning. It is also a treatment drug for photodermatitis.

In industry, it can be used as an anti-aging agent and ultraviolet absorber for plastics and inks. Uses Oil-soluble liquid UV-B absorber, can be compounded with various sunscreens

 

UV Absorber Octyl Methoxycinnamate (OMC) is one of the safest and mostwidely used UV B filters. OMC can easily be dispersed into oil phase of anemulsion. 
UV Absorber Octyl Methoxycinnamate is compatible with most cosmetic materials and can beemulsified either hot or cold. depending upon the 
emulsifier. 
UV Absorber Octyl Methoxycinnamate  offers absorption of UV B radiation from 290 to 320 nm. It is ideal for use in sun-care and skin-care products for everyday protection. It is suitable for the formulation of sun-protection products.
