Product Description

General Description
SC type standard chemical process pumps are horizontal, single-stage, single-suction, radial-split centrifugal pumps with their dimensions and performance in comply with ISO 2858. Both efficiency and cavitation performance of SC type exceed those of IH pumps. Type SC can be interchanged with the IH type.  The designing of pump SC is according to ASME B 73.1 & ISO5199.

Design F eatures
SC End-suction foot-mounted, single-stage overhung pumps be designated pump type OH1 (API610 OH1).
> End suction/Top discharge casing is self-venting
> Standard modularization designing, that is a assembly module unit composed by bearing bracket, shaft,   stuff box and impeller, and reduce maintenance costs.
> The rear pull-out design enables the bearing pedestal including impeller and shaft seal to removed with   the volute casing left in position. The removed of the driver can be avoided if a spacer coupling is used.
> The interchangeable modular elements for various sizes, only 6 bearing frames for 40 sizes. There is a   high interchangeability to reduced number of components, efficient high quality manufacture, and easier   spare part stock keeping.
> The standard seal type includes 3 varieties, viz. stuffing seal, single mechanical seal and double seal.
> The double volute casing (big size) designed enables a small radial thrust and small shaft deflection in the   area of the shaft seal.
> The standard base plate is welded base plate. Cast iron base plate isn't applicable.


Construction
Casing
The casing is designed to the criteria of ISO5199. It is radially split with a PTFE gasket. Discharge flange  have a distribute loads for high nozzle load capability. ISO7005 suction and discharge flanges are   standard with other flanges optional. A plug drain connection is supplied as standard construction.
Impeller
The impeller is an enclosed, single suction design, keyed to shaft and secured by a collar disc and a cap   nut. All impellers are balanced to ISO 1940 G6.3 class.
Wear Ring
Replaceable casing wear rings are secured by a press fit and set screws. And when impeller diameter   >= 315mm, the casing includes two wear ring (Front/Back), and other size only have a front wear ring of   casing.
Seal Chamber
The seal chamber is integral with the case over and designed to accommodate stuff, single, dual   pressurized, and cartridge seals (Hook sleeve type) are standard.
Shaft Sleeve
A replaceable shaft sleeve is provided with each cartridge type seal (Hook sleeve type).
Shaft
The standard shaft easily transmits torque and limits deflection at the seal chamber. The bearing frames   (LK30 / LK40 / LK50) are designed with the light-duty shaft, and others designed by heavy-duty shaft.
Bearing Housing
The iron steel of bearing housing is standard with oil lubrication. Oil level sight glass is provided. And the   constant level oiler is a standard as a fill in part. Drain plug is standard.
Baseplate
The standard base plate is welded base plate. Casting base plate is not applicable.
Coupling Guard
Standard axially split, circular coupling guard is available.
Coupling
The standard coupling includes 2 varieties, viz. craw type flexible disc type. That should be a selection   according with the customer requirement.
Seal Piping
The standard piping includes 3 varieties, viz. plan11, plan32 and plan54.
Operation Conditions
Fluid: This pump can handle clean liquids or liquids containing solids.
> Working Temperature Range:  -30 ºC  to 260 ºC .   
> Operating pressure:
PN 1.6  MPa - Hydrostatic test pressure = PN2.4 MPa

Hydrostatic and Performance Testing
The standard testing is accomplished in accordance with ISO 9906 grade 2. A non-witnessed 10 minute,   hydrotest at 1.5 MAWP is included. A non-witnessed performance test with performance and vibration data
is included.
NPSH testing, extended test time (the standard testing time is 30 min.), witness tests and other   measurements are available at extra cost and delivery.

Welding & Non- Destructive Examination (NDE)
All welding & NDE should be performed with API610 Standard Quality Plan. Overstep the standard quality  plan will be impacted the cost and delivery.

Documentation
2 Copies of Standard Drawings: General Arrangement drawing, Cross Section (with Mech., Parts List),   performance curve, Certificate of Conformance, Pump IOM and motor IOM.
