Product Description

The thrust ball bearing is designed to withstand thrust load at high speed and is composed of gasket - like ring with ball rolling raceway groove. Because of the cushion shape of the ring, the thrust ball bearing is divided into two types: flat base cushion type and aligning spherical cushion type. In addition, the bearing can bear axial loads, but not radial loads.

Thrust ball bearing purpose: only suitable for bearing one side of axial load, low speed on the machine, such as crane hook, vertical water pump, vertical centrifuge, jack, low speed reducer, etc. The shaft ring, the seat ring and the rolling body of the bearing are separated and can be assembled and disassembled respectively.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings and thrust tapered roller bearings are suitable for low speed situations , with thrust tapered roller bearings having slightly higher speeds than thrust cylindrical roller bearings. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings that can only withstand unidirectional axial loads and slight impacts, and can limit the axial displacement of the shaft (or shell) in one direction. Therefore, they can be used for unidirectional axial positioning. But its load-bearing capacity is far greater than that of thrust ball bearings. When rolling, due to the different linear speeds at both ends of the roller, sliding of the roller on the ring raceway is inevitable. Therefore, the limit speed of this type of bearing is lower than that of thrust ball bearings, and it is usually only suitable for low-speed operation situations.

Installation precautions:
When assembling thrust roller bearings, there should be a dedicated mold that cannot be knocked casually. When pressing into the shaft, only the small ring can bear the force, and when pressing the large ring, only the large ring can bear the force. During assembly, it is required to use air pressure or hydraulic pressure. The upper and lower molds should be in a horizontal state when pressing. If there is an inclination, it will cause damage to the groove of the thrust roller bearing due to force, causing the thrust roller bearing to produce a guide sound.
