Advanced Acetic Silicone Sealant 517

517 is a fast-curing one-component silicone sealant, acetic cure type, which cures with atmospheric moisture to form a high-strength rubber seal with excellent adhesion to glass, glazed surfaces, mirrors, and metals, stainless, most plastics, and coated surfaces. It is virtually unaffected by high or low temperatures; its excellent physical properties are designed to give outstanding durability and performance.

Features:
1. Never turn white;
2. Fast curing speed, durable seal;
3. Good adhesion and compatibility to most building materials;
4. Excellent weather ability and high resistance to UV radiation, heat, humidity, ozone, and high temperature;
5. The formed silicone rubber maintains excellent properties in the temperature range of -50ºC to +100ºC.  

Main Applications:
- Installation of various doors and windows;
- Bonding and sealing of various glassworks;
- Indoor decoration joint sealing;
- Handicraft bonding;
- General bonding and sealing of various signs, glass display cabinets, etc.

Use Limitations
1. All the surfaces that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents;
2. Non-corrosion resistant substrates such as concrete, porous stones (like marble), coated glass, copper, lead, and galvanized materials;
3. The mucilage shall not be completely isolated from the air before fully curing;
4. The frosty or moist surface;
5. When the surface's temperature is below 4ºC or above 40ºC.
