On September 28, 2023, BYD held an online new energy vehicle launch event for the European market, unveiling three models and announcing official pre-sale prices. Among them, the Han EV's pre-sale price in Germany is 72,000 euros. It will also debut at the 2023 Paris Motor Show in October, and start deliveries across multiple European countries including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany.

On October 17, 2023, BYD brought the Han EV and two other electric vehicle models to showcase at the Paris Motor Show.
