Dexamethas onesodium phosphate (DSP), chemically known as 16a-methyl-11β,17a,21-trihydroxy-9a- Fluoropregnanol-1,4-diene-3,20-dione-21-phosphate disodium salt, belongs to the adrenocorticosteroid class of drugs, can stabilize the lysosomal membrane, reduce the release of lysosomal It can stabilize the lysosomal membrane and reduce the release of hydrolytic enzymes; inhibit the production of inflammatory substances bradykinin, 5-hydroxytryptamine and prostaglandin, increase the stability of mast cell granules and reduce the release of histamine; constrict blood vessels and inhibit the migration of leukocytes and macrophages outside the blood vessels, etc., thus having anti-inflammatory effects. It can play an immunosuppressive role by inhibiting macrophage function. It can inhibit fibroblast formation, which helps to prevent corneal scarring, reduce scar formation and protect vision when used in trauma. It can inhibit or reduce the formation of neovascularization in the case of corneal and conjunctival disorders. Function and Application of Dexamethas one Sodium Phosphate CAS 2392-39-4

1.  Adrenal corticosteroids drug, anti-inflammatory, anti-toxity, anti-allergy;
2.  An anti-excitment glucocorticoid and also a precursor drug that can be converted into dexamethas one in body stimulating glutamate to be absorbed into the cerebral cortex. It is used as adrenal corticosteroids clinically with anti-inflammatory, anti-drug and anti-allergy effect.
3. Dexamethas one-21-phosphate disodium salt is used in eye and ear preparations and in systemic preparations.
4. Dexamethas one 21-phosphate disodium salt acts as an inducer of apoptosis and inhibitor of the sodium phosphate symporter. It is used in the treatment of emetic effects of cancer therapy and epicondylitis. Further, it serves as an activator of food, medicine, glucocorticoid and anti inflammatory.
