Beneficiation Plant

Beneficiation Method:
According to different mineral characteristics, different beneficiation method is used. There are magnetic beneficiation, flotation beneficiation and gravity beneficiation. Some minerals have many elements suitable for beneficiation, so 2 type beneficiation method will be used in one plant for different elements.
Beneficiation Plant Description
Beneficiation plant contain crushing system, grinding system, separation system
A. Crushing System
Introduction:
Minerals are explored from mountain and will firstly need to be crushed and get suitable size for next stage grinding system. Stone size will be changed from 500mm to 25mm.
Equipments: Feeder-Jaw Crusher-Cone Crusher (or Impact crusher or Fine Jaw crusher) -Screen-Belt Conveyor.
Process: Front loader feed mineral ore into hopper and stones will be feed into jaw crusher by feeder. Then material comes to secondary crusher. After crushing, material goes to screen. Material≤ 25mm goes to ball mill. >25mm goes back to secondary crusher to crush again. It forms closed circuit crushing system.
B. Grinding Sytem
After crushing, minerals need to be grinded into micro particle at about 200 mesh to prepare for element separation. Stone size will be changed from 25mm to 200mesh.
Equipments: Ball mill-Classifier(or hydrocyclone)
Process: Material after crushing will be conveyed to ball mill by belt conveyor or bucket elevator. In ball mill, material will be grinded and discharged to classifier for grading. Suitable material will go to next stage, big material will go back to ball mill to grind again. It forms a closed circuit grinding system.
C. Separation System
Element separation have 3 method: Magnetic beneficiation, Flotation beneficiation and Gravity beneficiation. Different mineral type will use different beneficiation method accroding to minerial's characteristics.
Magnetic beneficiation is suitable for iron ore. Flotation beneficiation is suitable for gold, silver, copper. Gravity is suitalbe for gold, tungsten, tin, etc.
Equipments: Magnetic beneficiation. Main equipments contain magnetic separator.
Flotation beneficiation. Main equipments contains flotation, mixing tank, concentrator.
Gravity beneficiation: Sprial chute, shaking table, jigger.
Process: After grinding, suitable material size for beneficiation is achieved. For iron, material will goes to magnetic separator. For gold and copper, material will go to flotation.
For some plant, 2 beneficiation method are all used. After magnetic or flotation separation, mateiral will go to sprial chute and shaking table to separate different elements.
