Product Description

GH3128 is a nickel-based alloy that is solid-solution strengthened with tungsten and molybdenum and grain boundaries strengthened with boron, cerium, and zirconium. It has high plasticity, high permanent creep strength, and good oxidation resistance, stamping and welding properties. Its comprehensive performance is better than similar nickel-based solid solution alloys such as GH3044 and GH3536. It is suitable for manufacturing the combustion chamber flame tube, afterburner shell, adjustment piece and other high temperature parts of aeroengines that work at 950ºC for a long time. The main products are cold-rolled sheets, and hot-rolled plates, bars, Forgings, wires and pipes. The solid solution temperature in the delivery state is 1140~1180ºC, and it is air-cooled. The high temperature performance is tested after supplementary solution treatment at 1200°C. Cold-rolled and hot-rolled plates are in solid solution and pickling; welding wire is in cold drawn, semi-hard or solid solution and pickling state. Non-vacuum or vacuum induction furnace plus electroslag remelting. The alloy is suitable for the manufacture of aero-engine combustion chamber and afterburner parts that work below 950°C, with good results.
