Characteristics of cylindrical rollers

Method of adjusting radial clearance:

1. The side clearance of cylindrical and elliptical bearing shells can be adjusted by manual scraping or by adding pads to the bearing split surface after turning and scraping.
2. The top clearance of cylindrical and elliptical bearing shells can be adjusted by manual scraping or by adding pads to the bearing split surface when conditions permit.
3. For fixed bearing shells with multiple oil wedges, in principle, it is not allowed to repair or adjust the clearance of the bearing shells. If the clearance is not suitable, a new bearing shell should be replaced.
4. For multi oil wedge tilting bearing pads, it is not allowed to repair or scrape the pads. When the clearance is not suitable, the pads should be replaced. For pads with adjustable thickness, the amount of pads can be adjusted by adding a stainless steel pad under the adjustment block at the back of the pad, or by thinning the thickness of the adjustment block. Note that for multi oil wedge tilting bearing pads, the thickness error between the same set of pads should be less than 0.01mm.
