Chitosan Oligosaccharide Powder is a linear polysaccharide composed of randomly distributed β-(1-4)-linked D-glucosamine(deacetylated unit) and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (acetylated unit). It is made by treating shrimp and other crustacean shells with the alkali. It is a "natural active product with positive charge" in nature, Also known as chitooligosaccharide, It has good water solubility, high absorption rate, low effective intake (daily effective dose is ≤ 0.5g); it is safe and has no side effects. Through scientific research, related papers and patent expression can be widely used in medicine, food, beverage, feed and other fields.

It can be used in agriculture as a seed treatment and biopesticide, helping plants to fight off fungal infections. In winemaking it can be used as a fining agent, also helping to prevent spoilage.
