• Musk is a synthetic musk fragrance which mimics natural musk. It has been used as a perfume fixative in a wide variety of consumer products,and is still used in some cosmetics and fragrances. 
• Description: Pale yellowish, whitish yellow or yellow granular crystals
• Odor: Sweet, heavy floral-musky odor
• Boiling-point: > 200 °C
• Solubility: Virtually insoluble in water; soluble in 95% ethanol (33 g/100 g), methyl carbitol (16.4 g/100 g), benzyl benzoate (50.0 g/100 g),etc; 

Musk Ambrette is the most elegant variety of nitro musk, with the musk aroma of amber. It is produced in large quantities at home and abroad. It is one of the most productive and widely used varieties of nitro musk. It is mainly used to prepare various spices and essence as the Chemicalbook fragrance, especially for advanced perfume. The amount used in some perfumes is 0.03-0.2% soap, 0.003-0.02% detergent, 0.2-2.0% perfume, 0.01-0.07% balsam and lotion.
