Isonicotinic acid is a metabolite of Isoniazi. Isoniazi is converted to Isonicotinic acid by hydrazinolysis, with the Isoniazi to Isonicotinic acid biotransformation also to be catalyzed by cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes, e.g., CYP2C[1].
