2. Biapenem is a kind of carbapenem synthetic antibiotic. Its salt form is white or off-white powder. It is soluble in water, but insoluble in common organic solvents. It is more stable to the action of renal dehydropeptidase than meropenem and is not necessary to be combined with the enzyme inhibitor.
