Manufacturing Technique

At present, there are two main types of common stainless steel pipes , namely welded stainless steel pipes and seamless stainless steel pipes.

 

Generally, a welded stainless steel pipe is formed by turning a steel strip or a steel plate into a circle or a square under the action of an external force, and then welding the surface seams to form a welded steel pipe. The commonly used processes are arc welding,high frequency or low frequency, cold rolling, etc., but welding using these processes will result in welds on the steel pipe.

 

The seamless stainless steel pipe is mainly formed by perforating a solid pipe blank or a steel ingot into a capillary tube, and then processing it by hot rolling, cold rolling, cold drawing, and the like to form a seamless steel pipe
