Product Description
Domperidone is a commonly used antiemetic stomach motivity drug with a white to yellowish powder appearance and bitter taste. Almost insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, easily soluble in lactic acid, easily soluble in citrate. This product is a strong peripheral dopamine receptor antagonist. Domperidone can block parapsynaptic DA1 and DA2 receptors, and antagonize the inhibitory effect of dopamine on postsynaptic cholinergic neurons in the intermuscular plexus, resulting in stomach contraction. It can promote gastrointestinal peristalsis and tension to restore normal function, promote gastric emptying, increase peristalsis of gastric antrum and duodenum, coordinate pyloric contraction, and enhance esophageal peristalsis and lower esophageal sphincter tension. Due to its poor ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, it has little antagonistic effect on dopamine receptors and can rule out psychiatric and central nervous system side effects. Oral absorption is rapid, and the blood concentration reaches its peak in 15-30 minutes. In addition to the central nervous system, but also widely distributed in other parts of the body. Oral bioavailability is low due to "first-pass" liver and intestinal metabolism. Indication:
1. Symptoms of digestive dysfunction caused by delayed gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux, chronic gastritis and esophagitis, including nausea, vomiting, belching, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, and burning sensation of mouth and stomach caused by reflux.
2. Parkinson's disease, nausea and vomiting caused by various reasons such as function, infection, diet, radiotherapy or drug therapy and dopamine receptor agonists (such as levodopa and bromoquintine).
