Application:   Antioxidant, polymerization inhibitor.Methylhydroquinone is used as stabilizer and antioxidant in aerylic monomers to prevent polymerization. Methylhydroquinone is a marine fungus metabolite, showing activity as an angiosupressor that interferes with the Akt pathway. Allows for screening of novel inhibitors of angiogenesis.
