Trimethyl borate is colorless liquid. Melting point -29.3 °C, boiling point 68-69 °C, azeotropic mixture formed with methanol, azeotropic point 55 °C, relative density (20/4) 0.920, refractive index (nD25) 1.Chemicalbook 3543 (1.3548). Very flammable, flash point -1 °C. Miscible with ether, methanol, tetrahydrofuran, isopropylamine and hexane.
