19-Nordehydroepiandro sterone (19-nor-DHEA'), or 19-nor-5-dehydroepiandro sterone (19-nor-5-DHEA'), is an estrane (19-norandro stane) steroid which was never marketed. It is the combined derivative of the androgen/anabolic roid n'androlone (19-nortesto sterone) and the androgen prohormone dehydroepiandro sterone (DHEA', or more specifically 5-DHEA'). Related compounds include 19-nor-5-androst enediol, bola'ndiol (19-nor-4-androst enediol), and bola'ndione (nor-4-androst enedione), which are all known orally active prohormones of n'androlone. 19-Nor-DHEA' may occur as a metabolite of b'olandione and related steroids
