Product Description
Introduction
Nonionic fluorinated surfactant A surfactant in which the hydrogen atoms in the hydrocarbon chain of a nonionic surfactant are wholly or partly replaced by fluorine atoms.
Non-ionic fluorocarbon surfactants can be divided into polyethylene glycol type, polyol type, sulfoxide type and polyether type according to the different molecular structure, the main use is polyethylene glycol type.
Nonionic fluorocarbon surfactants are divided into those used in aqueous solution and those used in organic solvents according to the different environment they are used in, and special nonionic fluorinated surfactants containing silicon.
Nonionic fluorocarbon surfactants are not ionized in water, so they are not sensitive to the acid-base of the solution and the existence of electrolytes. They can be used in strong acid or strong alkaline environment, and have good compatibility with ionic surfactants. They can be used for the combination, modification and enhancement of surfactants.
However, due to the poor chemical stability of polyoxyethylene hydrophilic groups than carboxylate, sulfonate and other anionic groups, non-ionic fluorinated surfactants are usually not used in solvents containing strong oxidants.
The fluorine-free terminal group of fluorocarbon surfactants used in aqueous solution is usually composed of a certain number of oxygen ether bonds or hydroxyl groups, which is composed of polyoxyethylene chain and polyoxyepropylene block structure. The length of these polar groups can be adjusted by molecular design. The change of the length of the polar groups will affect the hydrophilic and oil-philic equilibrium of nonionic fluorinated surfactants.
The fluorocarbon surfactants used in organic solvents have no hydrophilic groups. They are composed of both hydrophobic and oil-hating fluorocarbon chain segments and oil-loving hydrocarbon chain segments.
Fluoro-silicon nonionic surfactant is a new type of surfactant which is based on Si-O-Si chain and grafted with hydrophilic groups such as fluorophobic groups and polyoxyethylene or polyoxyepropylene in the side chain or both ends.
Performance
Glass detergent
When it is used in automobile windshield detergent, adding non-ionic fluorinated surfactants into the common surfactant formula can further reduce the surface tension, improve the wetting and permeability, and improve the cleaning effect.
Non-ionic fluorinated surfactants can be well attached to the glass surface when cleaning the car glass, so that it has super hydrophilic, any temperature of water mist (or even vapor), fog beads, once in contact with the glass surface can immediately infiltrate and spread into a transparent water film, and make the water film move quickly, and can not gather into drops, produce good anti-fog effect, At low temperature below 0ºC, it can also play a very good anti-fog and high dripping performance. At the same time can reduce the amount of other surfactants.
