  Trimetazidi ne hydrochloride belongs to other classes of anti-anginal cardiovascular drugs that maintain a stable intracellular environment by protecting cellular energy metabolism in the presence of hypoxia or ischaemia and preventing the fall in intracellular ATP levels, thus ensuring the normal function of the ion pump and the normal functioning of the permeable sodium-potassium flow. Trimetazidi ne hydrochloride tablets are used as an add-on drug for the symptomatic treatment of adult patients with stable angina pectoris who are poorly controlled or intolerant to first-line anti-anginal therapy.


Function and Application of   Trimetazidi ne Dihydrochloride CAS 13171-25-0
1.1-(2,3,4-Trimethoxybenzyl)piperazi ne dihydrochloride or trimetazidi ne dihydrochloride can be used as a building block to synthesize:
Phenylpropyl trimetazidi ne derivatives with potent cerebral vasodilator activity.
Benzoylguanidine-trimetazidi ne derivatives for myocardial ischemic-reperfusion activity studies.
2. Trimetazidi ne hydrochloride increases exercise test tolerance in patients with angina pectoris, delays exercise-induced myocardial ischaemia from dl5 of treatment and reduces ischaemia without causing haemodynamic changes.
3. Trimetazidi ne Dihyochloride limiting rapid blood pressure fluctuations did not cause significant changes in heart rate and significantly reduced the frequency of angina attacks.
