Introducion

Ceftriaxone sodium is a water-soluble β-lactam cephalosporin, which is a non-gastrointestinal, semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum long-acting third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is very sensitive to most gram-positive and negative bacteria, with broad antibacterial spectrum, strong antibacterial action, resistance to enzyme degradation, low toxicity, strong tissue penetration and long half-life. The β-lactam structure of ceftriaxone acts on the plasma membrane of Chemicalbook cell carboxypeptidase, endonuclidenase and peptidase, which are involved in cell synthesis and cell division. Through these enzymes, cell wall defects and cell death are caused, and mucopeptide synthesis of bacterial cell wall is inhibited to achieve therapeutic effect. In the treatment of lower respiratory tract infection, skin tissue, urinary tract infection, bone and joint infections and bacterial septicemia disease has achieved good therapeutic effect.
 

Application

It is used for the prevention of lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection and biliary tract infection caused by sensitive pathogens, as well as abdominal infection, pelvic infection, skin soft tissue infection, bone and joint infection, septicemia, meningitis and infection during operation.
