Tetrachloroethylene/Perchloroethylene(PCE):

It is a colorless transparent liquid with a chloroform-like odor.

Insoluble in water, but soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. The tetraenes without adding stabilizer are heated to 140ºC, which has no obvious corrosion on common metals. When tetraenes without adding stabilizer are contacted with water for a long time under the action of light, trichloroacetic acid and hydrogen chloride are gradually generated, which are corrosive
