The fuel metering valve is installed at the inlet position of the high pressure oil pump to adjust the fuel supplyment and fuel pressure.And its adjustment requires to be controlled by ECU. When the control coil is energized,the fuel metering proportional valve is conduction.Can provide the maximum flow of fuel.ECU can increase or decrease the fuel quantity by changing the oil content of high pressure oil pump through pulse signal.
Fuel metering valve is an important device in the diesel engine electronic control high-pressure common rail pump,according to the EC instruction.
