The molecular formula is c11h15no5 and the molecular weight is 241.24000. Mexobamo is a muscle relaxant, which is mainly used in the treatment of joint muscle sprain, lumbar muscle strain, sciatica and other diseases.

Methocarbamol is a skeletal muscle relaxant. This compound is a carbamate of guaifenesin. Methocarbamol has been observed to bind to carbonic anhydrase I and II with 1000-fold more specificity for carbonic anhydrase I.
