1.General Introduction of Low Intensity Magnetic Separator                               

Drum Magnetic Separator are used in Dense Media Separation (DMS) plants for the recovery of magnetic particles from the dilute medium. They must recover the maximum amount of magnetic particles at the highest possible density. A Magnetic Separator  consists of a stationery magnet arc around which a drum rotates. The magnetic drum separator is partially submerged in a tank which follows the contour of the drum.

CTS/B/N  Magnetic Separator is a wet-type low-intensity drum magnetic separator with relatively high magnetic field and the most efficient magnetic separation equipment with strong magnetism for minerals.

Wet Magnetic Separator is ideally used to separate ferrous particles from non-ferrous particles. This kind of separators are made by us to provide ultimate protection to Crushers, Grinders, Pulverizer and allied equipment and is useful for mining and ore dressing industry, and can be equipped with semi-conflow(CTB), con-flow(CTN) and co-flow(CTS) tanks according to customers' requirements.

Magnetic induction intensity of magnetic separator can be designed in accordance with specific mineral properties and operation processes. Characterized by advanced structure, light weight, reliable operation, easy maintain, serialized products and standardized parts, the wet magnetic separator can meet the needs of plants in different size. 2. Low Intensity Magnetic Separator Applications:

(1) For primary rough dressing and refused tails, increasing recovery rate and reducing the load of second-stage grinding.
(2) For concentration of ferromagnetic minerals, increasing ore grade and recovery rate.

(3) Used before high-magnetism separation to remove ferromagnetic minerals from the ore and prevent magnetic clogging.
(4) To recovery of heavy media at coal processing plants.


4. Low Intensity Magnetic Separator Magnetic Separator Introduction:

Dry drum magnetic separator for fine ore also can be driven by diesel engine, if it is used in region which is short of electricity Apart from existing fixed types, this kind of dry magnetic separator with different magnetic induction intensity and application for different magnetic materials can also be developed according to the specific requirements of customers.

 

5.Dry Drum Magnetic Separator Applications:

 

(a) For pre-separation of low-grade ores, to pre-concentrate ores, raise ore grade and reduce production cost.

(b) For re-separation of tails, to recover relatively rich iron ore tailing.
(c) For magnetic purification of dry fines of pyrite cinder.

(d) To effectively remove iron from non-magnetic materials with lower cost.
(e) For purification of concentrated fines, to remove lean associated materials and gangue from concentrated iron fines, lead to the grade improvement of fines and increase the technically-added value of products.
