L-Cysteine is a semi-essential amino acid found naturally in the human body.Cysteine, along with the amino acids glutamine and glycine, is a building block of the powerful antioxidant glutathione.The amino acid may provide a variety of health benefits. In alternative medicine, L-cysteine is touted as a natural treatment for:Angina Cardiovascular disease:Chronic bronchitis DiabetesFlu,Inflammatory bowel disease and Osteoarthritis.In addition, it is said to enhance lung health in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and can also help prevent colon cancer, boost sports performance, and promote detox.
 

Function:
1 L-cysteine may aid in the treatment of diabetes by lowering blood sugar, reducing insulin resistance , and preventing blood vessel damage .
2 L-cysteine may help prevent exercise-induced overproduction of free radicals, a process shown to contribute to oxidative stress.
3 L-Cysteine has been proposed as a preventive or antidote for some of the negative effects of alcohol , including liver damage and hangover. 
4 L-cysteine is an amino acid antidote. It participates in the reduction process of cells and the metabolism of phospholipids in the liver. It has a pharmacological effect of protecting liver cells from damage, promoting liver function recovery and exuberant.
