EDTA 4Na is also known as ethylenediamin tetra acetic acid four sodium salt. It's white powder. Soluble in water. It is used as hardening agent, multivalent chelating agent, fixing agent for washing and bleaching in color sensitive materials, and activator for styrene-butadiene rubber.
