Sodium Fusidate, also known as fusidic acid sodium, clostridial acid sodium, is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic with steroidal skeleton, a kind of derivative of fusidic acid, white crystal or crystalline powder in appearance, odorless, bitter in taste, slightly hygroscopic, easily soluble in water, ethanol, slightly soluble in chloro form, insoluble in propyle ne copper, ether, benzene. It has strong tissue permeability, mainly metabolized in the liver, and excreted by bile, almost not through the kidney, low toxicity, bactericidal effect through the inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis, good antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria, with good resistance, while the strains resistant to penicillin, methicillin and other antibiotics are still sensitive to this product, no cross There is no cross-resistance between fusidic acid sodium and other antibacterial drugs in clinical use. It is a non-cephalosporin antibiotic, so skin allergy test is not required.
