  1. Introduction
High Rotary Speed Permanent Eddy Current Separator for Cooper Aluminum Rubber Stainless Steel
1.1   HECS type eddy current separator is a separation technology that uses the different conductivity of matter. Its separation principle is based on two important physical phenomena: the changing alternating magnetic field produces an alternating electric field; Magnetic field produced by current carrying conductor.When the eddy current separator works, a high frequency alternating strong magnetic field is generated on the surface of the magnetic roller. When the non-ferrous metal through the magnetic area, it will induce an eddy current in it. The eddy current itself will produce a magnetic field in the opposite direction, and the non-ferrous metal will leap forward along its transportation direction due to the repulsive force of the magnetic field, realize the separation with other non-metallic materials .  The main distinguishing criterion is the ratio value of the conductivity and density of the material. The higher is easier to separate than the lower.
1.2 S tructure composition :
    HECS is composed of the main body and the control cabinet; the main part mainly consists of the magnetic separation assembly, the drive motor, the frame, and the cover.The sorting assembly is the core part, which is composed of permanent magnet drum, material conveying system (including conveying belt, driving drum and deceleration motor).
  1. Scope of use
HECS is mainly used to recover copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals from domestic waste, industrial waste, electronic waste treatment, glass scraps, waste plastic doors and windows, boiler bottom ash, waste automobile. It mainly refers to the following:
 Electronic waste treatment (refrigerator disassembly line), separation of aluminum cans and iron metals, non-ferrous metals from boiler bottom ash, aluminum or copper blocks from scrap car chips, non-ferrous metals from glass scraps, non-ferrous metal impurities from some production lines (such as plastic recycling), non-ferrous metals from plastic doors and windows recycling, non-ferrous metals from wood.

  1. Installation and commissioning
6.1 Make Level: After unloading the equipment, first place on the horizontal plane, measure the level of the equipment with a level ruler, and if it is uneven, use an iron plate to pad it.
6.2 Fixed: After the eddy current separator is leveled, it starts to fix the equipment, and the fixing hole of the equipment footplate is fixed on the ground with the expansion bolt; if the embedded plate is embedded in advance, it is welded and fixed with the embedded plate.
6.3 Power connection: according to the electrical wiring diagram (see the drawing below), connect the 380V main cable to the position of air switch in the control cabinet. In addition, connect the output line of the control cabinet to the wiring positions of three motors respectively: drum drive motor, belt drive deceleration motor and vibration feeding motor.







6.4 Debugging: first turn on the control switch, then press the open button. If the belt deviates, adjust the deviation according to 7. Adjustment of belt deviation.
When adjusting the tightness of the conveyor belt, loosen all the connecting bolts of the sealing plates at both ends of the frame, and adjust the adjusting bolts of the bearing blocks to tighten them with a wrench until the belt is pressed down 10-15mm with the thumb.
6.5 Test run: adjust the position of the separating plate, put in a small amount of materials, and adjust the position of the separating plate according to the separation of materials
After adjustment, the equipment can work normally .
  1. Adjustment of belt deviation
When the belt is running, it will run off in the direction of the looser end on both sides of the equipment. When adjusting, first loosen the connecting bolt of the bearing seat at the feeding end of the belt. By adjusting the top bolt of the bearing seat, tighten it clockwise or loosen it anticlockwise to move the bearing seat so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the deviation (as shown in the drawing below).
