Characteristic: 
white solid powder or particles, insoluble in water, also basically insoluble in methanol and ethanol. Solvents easily soluble in toluene and carbon tetrachloride.

1. There are more than 5000 brighteners on the world market, they are actually different brand names and numbers from different producers/ distributors for less than 400 chemical compounds. On China's market, the main names/ types are: BBU, CXT, BA-L, BA, APC, DMS(AMS), MST, 210, VBL, BBU, DT, VBU, BA, BC, DMS, FB-351, CBS-L, BA-L, 31#, CBW, 5BM, OB-1, APC, VBL, CXT, BBC, BST, BC-100, ER, ERI, BBU, CBS-L, PS(PF), OB, KB, OB-1, KCB, KSN, DBH-1, APH, APB-L, ER, KCB, KSN, PF, NFW, HPE and etc.

2. We normally list 24 months as the shelf life in our COA, the real shelf life can be slightly longer than 24 months if it's stocked in good condition (bags are sealed enough, away from direct sun-light, moisture and other incompatible chemical materials), but it's still suggested to avoid long time storage
