Posaconazole can effectively prevent invasive fungal infections. At present, although posaconazole injection has been approved for marketing by the FDA (approved in March 2014), its status as a main preventive drug has not changed. The antifungal spectrum of echinodin drugs (caspofungin, anidulafungin, and micafungin) is narrower than that of triazole and polyene drugs.
Use
It can be used clinically for the treatment of aspergillosis, zygomycosis and fusarium disease, and can also be used for the treatment of some fluconazole-resistant Candida infections. Studies have shown that posaconazole can widely and effectively treat Hyphomycosis phalaenopsis, and improve the survival rate of patients infected with Phalaenopsis dermatitis. The effect is dose-dependent.
