• The Hyperbaric Chamber MO-70 is designed to attend one single patient.
• Considering the amplitude of the stretcher width (700m mm), in this Hyperbaric Chamber model, it is feasible to treat a young child accompanied by a parent, comfortably. • The control panel of the equipment is installed laterally, attached to the steel structure of the chamber.
• This panel contains all the equipment commands, gauges, operation valves, emergency valves, intercom, etc… for the full operation of the equipment.
• The control panel of the Hyperbaric Chamber OXICAB MO-70 can be placed either to the left or right side of the steel tank according to the needs of the customer, allowing, in the case of a clinic or hospital that purchase two chambers, to request one with left and the other with right panel, so that one single person can operate both chambers simultaneously.
• The patient enters the chamber in a comfortable telescopic stretcher that goes completely out of the equipment without any external support.
• The telescopic stretcher has a reclining backrest with three (3) positions.
• Being the stretcher telescopic, once the patient is lying on the stretcher, it is softly slipped and introduced into the chamber through a special system. This allows the stretcher to be always stored inside the chamber and does not take up any extra space in the chamber room.
• When the patient enters into the hyperbaric chamber, a special antistatic bracelet is placed in his wrist for safety, to discharge any static charge that may be on his body, especially in cities with dry weather.
• Three (3) special medical penetrators are installed in the hyperbaric chamber to allow the customer to put hyperbaric medical equipment in an optional way.
• One (1) special medical penetrator T-COM type of 1 inch is placed within the penetrators indicated above to allow the placement of a hyperbaric transcutaneous oxygen monitor.
• A safety system for oxygen blocking is installed in the door of the monoplace chamber, which prevents this gas from entering the equipment pressurization system while the chamber door is open. In this way we ensure that oxygen does not contaminate the room where the chamber is installed due to an incorrect TECHNICAL FEATURES MONOPLACE HYPERBARIC CHAMBER MO-70 MONOPLACE operation of the equipment controls while the door is open.
• A system of pneumatic safety pins are installed on the top and bottom of the chamber door to block its opening.
• A communication system allows the permanent communication between the patient and the operator of the chamber. On the control panel is the telephone for the operator and inside there is a speaker system and a "hands-free" microphone for the patient.
• A security or relief valve is installed in the equipment. It is automatically activated in the case of a not allowed overpressure inside the chamber.
• An indicator of the internal temperature and humidity is installed in the control panel to continuously measure these two parameters.
• An indicator of treatment time (Timer) is installed in the control panel to control the treatment time of the patients.
• A special connection for the equipment grounding is installed on the back leg of the support system of the tank.
• A special support is installed on the upper part of the steel tank to allow the installation of a flat screen TV for the entertainment of patients. The TV is included with the Hyperbaric Chamber.
• The paint of the chamber is polyurethane type and includes anticorrosive scheme.
• Efficient noise reducers (silencers) for the pressurization and depressurization are located inside the chamber avoiding annoying sounds for the patients
Installation Instructions
Our Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber MO-70 is manufactured with semi-automatic systems for the pressurization and automatic systems for the ventilation and depressurization. The automatic and semi-automatic systems allow the chamber operator to perform the following:
• Programming the pressure level for each session of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as indicated by the doctor.
• Start the pressurization session with a single ON/OFF button, until the selected pressurization level is reached.
• Automatically obtain, from the beginning of the pressurization, a minimum ventilation of 30 liters per minute. This can be regulated from 30 to 300 liters per minute as desired.
• Make changes in pressure level during treatment in a semi-automatic way.
• Automatically maintain the pressure level of the chamber even making changes in ventilation.
• Automatically depressurize the chamber by setting the command button in OFF.
• Quickly depressurize the chamber, when any patient requires emergency evacuation (180 seconds from 3 ATA)
Optional Oxygen Concentrator
Our Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber Model MO-70 pressurized exclusively with medical oxygen, can also be manufactured, at the customer's request, with a hybrid operating system, that is, so that it can be pressurized with oxygen or compressed air. This Model of Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber is the MO-70-H.
With this hybrid system it is possible to select, with a special command, if the chamber will be pressurized with oxygen or with compressed air. The customer can choose the option to pressurize the chamber with oxygen and use the internal mask of the hybrid system to allow the patient to take air breaks during the treatment or can choose the option to pressurize the chamber with air and have the patient breathe oxygen through mask, as in the Multiplace Chambers.
The great advantage of choosing the option of pressurizing with air and supplying oxygen to the patient through a mask, is that it significantly reduces the oxygen consumption and substantially reduces the risks associated with the use of oxygen.
When deciding on the hybrid chamber, it must be manufactured by our company, especially for this option. Additionally, the Hybrid Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber MO-70-H requires a Compressed Air System, the description and prices of which you can request from our company if you are interested in acquiring it
