Product description
TC-K518 epoxy resin is a liquid epoxy resin formed by the reaction of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A.
TC-K518 epoxy resin is one of the most widely used general-purpose liquid epoxy resins, and is also a standard type bisphenol A epoxy resin. Based on it, a variety of epoxy resin products developed. This liquid epoxy resin can be used with various curing agents at room temperature, and the most commonly used are aliphatic polyamines, polyamides, alicyclic amines, and various modified amines. Cure the resin at high temperature, certain characteristics such as chemical resistance and glass transition temperature can be improved. If an acid anhydride or a catalyzed curing agent is applied, high temperature curing and long post curing is required for optimum performance.

Packaging, storage, and operation
TC-K518 epoxy resin is supplied in 20, 240 kg sealed iron drums or in bulk. This low molecular weight epoxy resin should be stored in its original sealed package under a dry place. The storage environment temperature should be 10-40 ºC (the storage temperature should not be lower than 2 ºC ). Keep away from high temperature fire sources and avoid sunlight. Under the above conditions, the epoxy resin shelf life is 12 months.
Under certain conditions, such as a storage temperature of 2 ºC , TC-K518 epoxy resin may crystallize. The crystallization of the resin is only a physical change and does not change its chemical properties. If crystallization occurs, the resin can be heated to 70-80 ºC and the resin is returned to its original state by stirring.
