Octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride has good compatibility with cationic, non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, and has excellent permeability, softness, emulsification, antistatic, biodegradability and bactericidal properties. This product is a light yellow colloidal liquid. Relative density 0.884, HLB value 15.7, flash point (open cup) 180ºC, surface tension (0.1% solution)34×10-3N/m. At 20ºC, the solubility is less than 1%. Soluble in alcohol. It has excellent stability, surface activity, emulsification, sterilization, disinfection, softness and antistatic properties.

Application
Octadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride has good chemical stability, and is widely used in hair conditioner, fabric softener, fiber antistatic agent, silicone oil emulsifier, asphalt emulsifier, organobentonite modifier, disinfection and fungicide, protein flocculant and water treatment flocculant in biopharmaceutical industry.

This product is used as antistatic agent for textile fibers, hair conditioner, emulsifier for asphalt, rubber and silicone oil. And widely used in disinfection and fungicide.
