Description
PQQ, a new water-soluble vitamin, is an oxidoreductase cofactor, which is very* present in some microorganisms, plants and animal tissues, and is not only involved in catalyzing redox reactions in living organisms, but also has some special biological activities and physiological functions. PQQ is a cofactor for quinone protease, which is involved in electron transfer in the respiratory chain and promotes the absorption of amino acids in the human body through the action of glucose. Amino acids are the main raw materials for the composition of cellular fluid and the synthesis of protein peptides, and are important components of all biologically active substances.
