stellite6B cobalt base alloy

WR6B,stellite6B alloy is one of the famous cobalt-based wear-resistant alloys with both wear resistance and strength and toughness. It can adapt to most working conditions and is widely used with a hardness of 37-45HRC.   Mainly used in chemical wear-resisting plate, wear-resisting rod, steam chemical valve seat, turbine blade protection, scour resistance sleeve, hot dip galvanized sinking roller and other parts;   Compared with WR6(stellite6), WR6B has better high-temperature wear resistance.

To provide bars, partial deformation parts, forgings and precision casting parts, and base alloys for cobalt-based superalloys.   To map to order.

Stellite alloy is a kind of hard alloy that can withstand various types of wear and corrosion and high temperature oxidation. It is translated into Stellite alloy in our country, that is, commonly known as cobalt-based alloy. Stellite alloy was invented by American Elwood Hayness in 1907.   Stellite alloy is mainly composed of cobalt, containing a considerable amount of nickel, chromium, tungsten and a small amount of molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, titanium, lanthanum and other alloy elements, and occasionally also contains a class of iron alloy.   Depending on the composition of the alloy, they can be made into welding wire, powder for hard surface surfacing, thermal spraying, spray welding and other processes, can also be made into casting and forging parts and powder metallurgy parts

Classification and main grades of Stellite alloys

According to the application classification, Stellite alloy can be divided into Stellite wear resistant alloy, Stellite high temperature resistant alloy and Stellite wear resistant and aqueous solution corrosion resistant alloy.   In general working conditions, there are both wear resistance and high temperature resistance or wear and corrosion resistance. Some working conditions may require high temperature resistance and wear and corrosion resistance at the same time. The more complex the working conditions are, the more advantages of Stellite alloy can be reflected.
