Ropivacaine is such a new type of long-acting amide local anesthetic, which has a long duration of action, anesthesia and analgesia. Its pharmacological characteristics are low cardiotoxicity, obvious separation of sensory block and motor block, and peripheral vasoconstriction. Therefore, the drug is especially suitable for postoperative analgesia and obstetric anesthesia.
Compared with traditional local anesthetics, ropivacaine has the following advantages:
1. Therapeutic effect: The effect time of ropivacaine is significantly longer than that of other long-acting local anesthetics, and the effect time of subcutaneous infiltration anesthesia is 2 to 3 times longer than that of bupivacaine of the same concentration.
2. Unique curative effect - the sensory-motor block separation of ropivacaine is much greater than that of bupivacaine, and the clearance rate is higher, making it more suitable for analgesia.
3. Strong controllability - the anesthetic effect of ropivacaine is dose-dependent, that is to say, the degree of sensory and motor blockade produced by ropivacaine is predictable and controllable.
4. Low toxicity and side effects - Ropivacaine does not have the disadvantage of high cardiotoxicity of general long-acting local anesthetics. This product rarely occurs cardiotoxicity, and the fetus has a good tolerance to this product.
